This is a completely REMOTE job. Never commute nor get snarled in rush hour traffic again. If applying from the Chicago area, there is the option to transition to a local office once established.

ShowMojo, a rapidly growing company, specializing in streamlining the residential rental process through automated listing and showing tools, is seeking a full-time Sales Associate to drive growth opportunities through business development and sales strategies. This position is responsible for selling new business.

We are looking for sales professionals who are self-motivated, have positive energy and enthusiasm, enjoy working independently as well as together as a team and who are looking for a career home with a fast-growing company. The ideal candidate must be willing to prospect and close business on the phone. Additionally, the Sales Associate will be responsible for daily, weekly and monthly sales quotas.

Must be able to travel for industry events and customer connections.

Responsibilities include:

  • Selling ShowMojo products and services
  • Attending Trade Shows and industry-related Association events
  • Maintaining and updating sales data base
  • Managing sales pipeline
  • Presenting product via web and phone
  • Mining sold customers for referrals

Requirements

  • Must be competent with technology and web technology in particular - for example, experience with Slack, Wikis, FreshDesk, Salesforce etc.
  • Must be comfortable in phone prospecting
  • Must have demonstrated ability to communicate (written and verbal)
  • Must demonstrate continuous and effective follow-up methods and techniques that keep Showmojo front-of-mind to potential and existing customers
  • Must have a quiet office (home or elsewhere) with a strong internet connection and a newer computer
  • Sales experience 1-3 years
